Vision: Rezonate began in 2006, born out of the creative minds of husband-and-wife duo Nico and Katwo Puertollano in their home office. Nico, a director and designer, and Katwo, an artist and musician, blended their talents to craft innovative visual storytelling. From its humble beginnings as a boutique design studio specializing in print and broadcast media, Rezonate expanded its expertise to include data visualization and motion design. Today, Rezonate focuses on creating compelling content powered by subculture marketing, collaborating with leading names in advertising, broadcast, film, and entertainment to craft narratives that deeply Rezonate with audiences.
I was introduced to Katwo Puertollano, at the 2024 SARANKCO
Portfolio Review, as a reviewer of my capstone website. After being the bridge between me and many industry professionals in the Latin independent film community, she asked me to shoot an event for her own brand, Rezonate.
Caught in these captures are budding and established figures in the Filipinx filmmaking, motion design, and animation communities. It was a privilege to be able to give back to a valued connection, and photograph an active city night with talented BIPOC creatives at the Guju Bar.
